It is both an honour and a privilege to serve as President of the Hamilton Chapter of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association for the coming year. Our chapter, founded in 1976 with Bob Coughlin as its first president, has a long history of community, connection, and professional growth.

I would like to extend a warm welcome back to Rhu Sherrard and to welcome Gil Johnstone, both from ClaimsPro, to our Board of Directors. At the same time, I would like to thank Jeni Hamu, Nicole Chutko, and Debbie Brockway for their dedication and contributions during their time with us. We’re also looking forward to another busy calendar of events.

This year’s line-up includes our Ghouls, Ghosts, & Trivia Night, Very Merry Mixer, Bowling Bash, Charity Poker Tournament, Bocce Ball Tournament, and of course, our Annual Golf Tournament. Full details and dates are posted under the events tab on our website, and I encourage you to join us.

Over the past year, we’ve been proud to support the Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario, The Canada Anti-Human Trafficking Consortium, and the Hamilton/Niagara Insurance Institute. Supporting meaningful local causes remains an important focus for us moving forward.
